Much of social media called for Disney to fire “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” star Gina Carano on Saturday after she dared to question the election results over the weekend. Following her tweet, hashtag #FireGinaCarano began trending on the social media platform. Many users using the hashtag also copied Disney’s streaming service on demand.
In recent days Governor Jay Inslee has implemented draconian China Virus orders. No more indoor dining at restaurants or bars. Grocery stores must impose a 25 percent occupancy limit. “Religious services will also be limited to a quarter capacity, nor no more than 200 people, whichever is fewer,” the governor’s order states. “No choirs or congregational singing permitted. Face coverings required at all times.”
In response, Chad Kimball, a Tony-nominated Broadway actor and a person of faith posted a note on Twitter — saying that he would respectfully disobey the governor’s unlawful orders. “Respectfully, I will never allow a Governor, or anyone, to stop me from SINGING, let alone sing in worship to my God,” he wrote. ‘Folks, absolute POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY.” And Many Broadway stars rebuked Mr. Kimball — calling him ignorant, arrogant, and selfish.
Jeff Charles’s rationale to cancel culture makes sense. “Progressives who support, and engage in, censorship do so because they are afraid. They fear that their ideas will not stand up to scrutiny. They worry that they will fail to persuade Americans to embrace their Marxist utopian ideals. People who push back make it more difficult for people on the far left to convince the rest of the country to join up with their cause .”

Establishment media outlets like CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, and others no longer have the ability to determine what voices America hears. This is why they are cracking down on conservative opinions on social media.
